What is better; Android phones or iPhone's?

Image result for iphonesApple's iPhones have long been among the most popular devices and rumors of the release of the iPhone 8 has created a buzz around the company's new flagship handset. But there are still plenty of brands to make you think twice about choosing Apple.
There has probably never been a better time to look at buying an Android phone. There are only a handful of choices when buying an Apple phone, but devices running on Google's Android operating system offer far more choice and variety and some of the best phones of recent years come from the likes of Samsung, Google and HTC.

Should I buy an Android phone or an iPhone?

Although there are plenty of great reasons to buy an iPhone Apple's phones are not for everyone, and given that the new iPhone 8 is expected to cost up to $1,000 many people will be looking at other options.
Android is used by more phones and tablets, giving you greater choice when picking your phone and models such as the Samsung Galaxy S8are market leaders in the technology they offer.
And Android phones do not have to cost a fortune and many cheaper handsets offer better value than current iPhones. There are plenty of great contracts you can get on older handsets, as last year’s models have often fallen in price and still function perfectly well.
So if you want a bit more choice or a cheaper option, as well as the ability to share data easily across other Android phones and tablets, this operating system might be the right one for you.

What should I look for in an Android phone?

Image result for android phone w/ question mark on itKey technical specs you should be looking for in your smartphone include basic choices such as screen size and battery life to performance indicators such as processing power and storage.
Other factors you might want to consider are the power of the camera, if you want to use your smartphone to replace your digital camera, and you might want to look into the feel of the phone’s operating system, as several Android phone manufacturers add their own designs to the system - some with positive innovations, others less so.

  • Screen size: Current sizes range from just under 5 inches to close to 6 inches for screen size, which can be quite large to hold in the hand. The largest handsets may feel a little oversized, but will provide a better experience if you want to enjoy video or apps like Instagram or Snapchat.
  • Battery life: A device will offer at least all day battery life on mixed use and any phone with significantly more than 24 hours is considered very good.

  • Many manufacturers will judge battery on "talk time", but the phones will actually last days if left on standby.
  • Storage and memory: Lower spec smartphones will have around 2GB of RAM, the memory space which makes the phone run more quickly, although better models will have closer to 4GB. Cheaper Android phones will probably only have around 32GB of hard drive space for files and photos, although nearly all come with a slot for adding a micro SD card to boost storage space.
  • Camera: Most smartphones will take great pictures and high-end models compete to offer the best cameras. Megapixels (MP) are not everything, and some top models have even cut down, but they can create shots with greater close-up details.
  • Other features include dual cameras for extra depth and built-in apps to create different types of photo.Image result for camera phones
  • Operating system: Some older models will come with Google's Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), but can easily be upgraded to the latest Android 7.1 (Nougat), which comes with features such as split screen use and an improved "Doze" mode to save battery. While most phones come with the latest system, you may have to wait a while to update an older device.

What should I look for in my phone contract?

While you can simply break down phones in terms of handset price, many providers in the UK offer great deals to pick up new phones for far less.
Many smartphones are available for free if you agree to a two year contract. From there, you will be charged for the number of texts, minutes and the amount of data you use.
Phones that are a year or two old may only set you back £20 a monthover a two year period for basic levels of minutes and data. The latest flagship handsets, however, will probably cost more than £40 a month, and may also include an upfront cost for the phone as well.

How much should I pay for an Android phone?

Image result for moneyIf you are considering buying a handset outright then you can probably expect to pay several hundred pounds.
The cheapest decent Android phones will cost in the region of £150 for some of the latest phone brands. These will feature phones using Android 7.1 and some are still very high quality, just with less power and storage.
Mid-range phones will cost between £250 to close to £500. There is quite a leap in smartphone prices and only a few phones like the OnePlus series that try to bridge that mid-tier gap.
High-end phones will have the latest cameras, huge storage, powerful specs and innovations such as Samsung's Edge screen to try and make you part with £500 or more. It can be hard to recommend phones at this price, and most more basic phones will easily fulfill all simple functions, so they will need to blow you away with what's on offer.

Is Apple copying China smartphones?

Here’s a switch: Some consumers in China think Apple is now copying Chinese phones, instead of the other way around.
They point to several features in the new iPhone, launched overnight (AEST), that were first introduced in Chinese phones, including a dual-camera system and handsets without headphone jacks.
“Who would have thought that Apple has fallen to copying Huawei, LeEco and Oppo,” wrote one user of Chinese social network Weibo.
As Apple aims to win back straying Chinese consumers, competitors such as Huawei Technologies and LeEco pose a challenge.
For years, the China market’s explosive growth brought Apple consistent windfalls. But for Apple’s past two quarters, the world’s biggest smartphone market has turned into Apple’s biggest earnings drag. Blame the lack of major new features on the iPhone 6S, and credit Chinese handset makers for rolling out eye-catching devices.
Apple fell to fifth place in the China smartphone market in the second quarter, according to Strategy Analytics, behind four Chinese brands: Huawei Technologies, Oppo Electronics, Vivo Electronics and Xiaomi. Apple’s China market share fell to 6.7 per cent from 9.2 per cent a year earlier.
It remains to be seen if the iPhone 7 can win them back. Apple likely will benefit from curiosity over the controversial new cordless headphones and from pent-up demand after many Chinese buyers skipped the iPhone 6S. But the iPhone 7 lacks some of the killer features that analysts say could score a China home run, such as a major design refresh or dual-SIM card slots, a popular feature in the country.
Yang Lei, a graduate student in China’s southern Guizhou province, said after the launch that he plans to buy the iPhone 7 because of the advanced camera and because he has other Apple devices. “I’ve gotten used to the iOS system,” he said.
As in the US, many Chinese consumers were quick to point out online that the cordless earphones were pricey--$US159 — for something easily lost, and that the alternate lightning-cable earphones couldn’t be used while the phone is charging.

James Yan, an analyst from Counterpoint, said new iPhones usually sell briskly in China for at least the first few months, and the iPhone 7 likely will, too. But it is uncertain if sales will then drop off, as they did with the iPhone 6S. Apple’s sales across all products in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan fell 33 per cent to $US8.8 billion in the past quarter, versus a 112 per cent increase a year earlier.
In a country where many people’s monthly income still falls short of the iPhone’s $US649 price tag, an iPhone is a splurge. Buyers want to make sure their phone can’t be mistaken for an old one if they paid a new phone’s price.
That is one reason last year’s iPhone 6S, which looked similar to 2014’s iPhone 6, sold slowly in China, analysts say. Conversely, the gold and rose iPhones sold out in China when first introduced, partly because of the country’s love for the colour, but also partly because of the unique look.
Chinese consumers like to have smartphones that give them face,” said Mr Yan, using a Chinese term that means to appear dignified. “They want a phone that clearly looks like the newest version.”
The iPhone 7 has some new design elements, such as a shiny black model, but it remains similar to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S. Apple has been holding back a larger redesign for the iPhone’s 10th anniversary next year, The Wall Street Journal has reported.

Nicole Peng, Canalys China research director, said one challenge for Apple is its high quality standards mean that it sometimes can’t adopt newer features as quickly as smaller Asian brands.
Other handset makers have beaten Apple by months or even years to features such as dual-lens cameras, waterproofing and lightning-cable charging — but suppliers confessed that the technology still had kinks.

Apple also has yet to adopt organic light-emitting diode or OLED screens in iPhones, although it has been researching the technology for years, while brands from Samsung Electronics to Alibaba Group Holding partner Meizu Technology Co. have already released handsets with OLED screens.
One factor in Apple’s favour is Samsung’s recent recall of the Note 7. Samsung had staked out prime real estate in Beijing to advertise the Note 7 ahead of the iPhone launch. While Samsung has said that Note 7s sold in China don’t have faulty batteries, some Chinese consumers have still been wary.
Analysts hold out higher hope for iPhone sales next year after the launch of the next generation device. Besides an expected redesign, the iPhone will benefit from the recent expansion of the Apple upgrade program to China, which could nudge buyers to trade-up for a new model at a discount.
A recent Apple patent filing for a dual-SIM card slot also presents the possibility that the feature may emerge in next year’s version. Dual-SIM phones allow a consumer to use the same handset simultaneously for two different phone numbers — for work and personal calls, for instance. Mr Yan estimates that about a quarter of Chinese smartphone users have dual-Sim devices.

Instagram logo 2016.svgInstagram logo.svgInstagram is a mobiledesktop, and Internet-based photo-sharing application and service that allows users to share pictures and videos either publicly or privately. It was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, and launched in October 2010 as a free mobile app exclusively for the iOS operating system. A version for Android devices was released two years later, in April 2012, followed by a feature-limited website interface in November 2012, and apps for Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10 in April 2016 and October 2016 respectively.

So there are 5 METHODS on getting a lot of likes on Instagram

METHOD 1: USE HASHTAGS

1

Use hashtags to categorize photos with keywords. Hashtags help you to get discovered by other users and your photos are more likely to get liked. Using a lot of hashtags increases the likelihood that your photos will be viewed and shared.

2

Use as many hashtags as possible for each photo. For example, if you have a picture of your wiener dog, possible hashtags you can use are #wienerdog, #dog, and #pet.

3

Use the most popular hashtags. Some of the most popular hashtags are #love, #me, #cute, #friday and #coffee.

4

Search the list of trending hashtags and use one of them. Keep in mind that using a popular hashtag can also make your photo more likely to be lost.
  • Also, you can go to #likeforlike or #like4like and like a lot of photos. Not everyone likes back, but at least you get some likes.

METHOD 2: Applying Filters

1

Apply filters to your photos. This means using apps to edit and filter your pictures. Early-bird, X-Proll, Aviary, and Valencia are popular filters that give photos a unique look.

2

Use the apps on your phone to make photos appealing and special. Camera+, Pro HDR, Snap-seed, and Pixlr-o-matic are excellent apps.

METHOD 3: Finding Photos People Want To See

  1. 1
Post the right photos. Often, people will post anything, such as their lunch, their cat, or empty beer bottles. If you want more likes, think of Instagram as your art gallery. Its purpose is to display only the best, high-quality pictures. High-quality pictures are apt to get the most likes on Instagram. These types of photos attract the most people:
    • Never post three similar photos in a row. Choose the best one to display.

  2. 2
Post the best personal photos that show you with your significant other, friends, and family members.

  3. 3
Post photos of unique views. People like unique photos of things they've never seen before.

  4. 4
Post photos of a pet. Only the best photos of your dog or kitty are guaranteed to get likes. Make sure your pet is doing something unique in the photo.

  5. 5
Don't post excessive pictures of your food. Everyone does this, so only post spectacular food photos.

  6. 6
Combine multiple photos into one shot by using an app like Diptic. This way, you will be more likely to receive likes. You can place four similar images into one frame. Or show different parts of the same trip or occasion.
  7. METHOD 4: Be Community Minded

    1. 1
Be an active member of the Instagram community to receive likes and comments. Take time to comment on a friend's photo, or to like photos. If you do this, others will reciprocate. If you never acknowledge your followers photos, then they won't acknowledge you.
    2. 2
Start liking the photos of random people to get more likes back.

    3. 3
Go to other people's accounts (ones with more "following" than "followers").Like 15-20 of their pictures. If they notice you, they may like your pictures and follow you!
  8.  METHOD 5: Be Time Conscious

    1. 1
Post photos at the right time. You can post the most fantastic photos in the world, but no one will like them in the middle of the night. Most activity with your photo will happen in the first few hours, so make those hours count. Here's when you should post your photos:
      • Post in the middle of the day, when people are likely to be bored at work and surfing the web. Don't post too early in the morning, or at five or six o'clock, because most people are too busy commuting to notice your photos.
      • Post your photos a little after dinner time. People browse the web when they're tired in the evening.
      • Post your photos during special occasions. Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's Day are good times to post. Although some are too busy celebrating to notice your photos, they may actually be more likely to check them out.

    2. 2
Don't post photos on Friday or Saturday night. People may see them, but they may not want to admit that they have nothing better to do on a weekend than to look at instagram photos.

    3. 3
After you post your photos, comment on a friend's photo. Like a few photos to get your friends' attention.

How to make Money on YouTube?

1Set up and build your YouTube channel. Your channel is your personal presence on YouTube. Each YouTube account has one channel attached to it. A YouTube account is the same as a Google account, and creating a YouTube account will grant you access to other Google products, such as Gmail and Drive.
  • Create your account or use your existing one. Add keywords to help people find your channel. You can add keywords by navigating to the Advanced section of your Channel Settings. Make sure that your keywords are relevant to your content.
  • Your user name can also work for or against you. If it’s short, easy to remember, and original, people will be more apt to remember you. However if you are using an existing account, you can always change your username by editing it on your Google+ account.
2

Add content. Try to upload content that is high quality, and isn't super long. (This option can vary depending on what type of content you decide to upload) Also try to upload regularly and stay consistent with your uploads.
  • Even if your content isn't great at first, keep at it. Practice makes perfect. Try to make each video better than the last. You will often learn as you go.
  • Improve your content by either using a better camera or trying better editing software or techniques. Also try to improve the way things are filmed. Use a tripod, have a friend help you or light your scenes better. It all helps for a better end product which in turn helps you get a better audience.
  • By uploading regularly you can help hold an audience. People are more likely to subscribe if you add content on regular schedule, and maintain that schedule as much as possible.
  • Make sure to tag your videos with key words that describe the content, as well as an eye-catching description. These will help drive people to your video from YouTube searches.
  1. 3
Gain an audience. Building an audience is key to increasing your monetization. You need people to watch your ads in order to make any money off of them. There is no one secret to getting more subscribers, just make the best content that you can and they will come to you.
    • Keep uploading content and try to get people hooked. Send your video out on Twitter and Facebook. Share it with people. Distribute it elsewhere on the internet. Subscribers are essential to becoming a partner.
    • Interact with your viewers by responding to comments and making occasional videos directly related to viewer comments and questions. Connecting with your community will bring more members into that community.
    4

Monetize your videos. In order to start earning money on your videos, you’ll need to enable monetization. This means you are allowing YouTube to place ads in your video. This also means that you acknowledge that there is no copyrighted material in your video.
    • Go to www.youtube.com and click "My Channel" on the webpage.
    • Click the link called "Video Manager" on the top bar.
    • Click channel and Enable on monetization.
    5

Get at least ten thousand total views to start earning money.
    • You can monetize a video as it uploads by clicking the Monetization tab and checking the “Monetize with Ads” box.
    • To monetize a video after it has been uploaded, open your Video Manager and click the “$” sign next to the video that you want to monetize. Check the “Monetize with Ads” box.
    6

Set up Google AdSense. You can set up Google AdSense for free at the AdSense website. Click the Sign Up Now button to begin creating your account. You must be 18 years or older to create your own account. If you are younger than that, you will need an adult to help you.
    • You need either PayPal or a bank account and a valid mailing address as well as other information so AdSense can verify who you are and who to send the money to. You only gain money per ad click and a smaller amount per view but it adds up over time. This is why having an audience is key.
    7

Check your analytics. Once you have some videos online, monetized, and being viewed, you can check out the analytics on them to see how they are performing. Click the Analytics option in your Channel menu. Here you can view estimated earnings, ad performance, video views, demographics and more.
    • Use these tools to see how your content is resonating with your audience. You can change your content or your marketing if you’re finding that you aren’t attracting the users that you want to.
    8

Market your videos elsewhere. Don't  put your videos just on YouTube! Start a blog, make a website or post them on other video or social media sites. The more views it gets, the better. By sharing the link or embedding the video on the internet, you are increasing the chance of it getting noticed.
9

Become a YouTube partner. YouTube Partners are YouTube members who have monetized videos with a large number of viewers. Partners gain access to more content creation tools, and can win prizes for the number of viewers they have. Partners also get access to much more community support and tips.
  • You can apply for YouTube partnership at any time through the YouTube Partner page. In order to gain access to the most powerful Partner programs, you need to have 15,000 cumulative watch hours for your channel over the last 90 days.
10

Increase your YouTube revenue with Supp.me service. Supp.me allows to easily create polls & quizzes for free. Just create a question for your subscribers and invite them to answer it. The more people visit pages you created on Supp.me, the more you earn. This is a great way of getting feedback from your audience (you can ask for ideas for new videos and so on) and increase your earnings at the same time.
